Mosquito Magnet is one of the leading brands of mosquito traps on the market. As for placement of the mosquito magnet, its best to put it between the breeding areas of the pests and the home environment. When you do this correctly, you’ll begin to attract from where the mosquitos are breeding, and pull them from their flight path normally to your family over to the mosquito killer. Like most mosquito control devices, you should keep in mind that it takes up to six weeks before you will see much of a difference in the mosquito population.
Because this device runs on propane, you’ll need to make sure you have a full tank of propane when you use the magnet. One 20 lb cannister of propane should last about 21 days or so. Its good not to let the propane run completely out as the success of your mosquito control will depend on the continuance of running the mosquito magnet during the prime season. Always keep a spare tank in your garage and you’ll be able to switch out immediately when you need to.
