Option #2  – A Potpourri Burner For Mosquito Traps?

Try using a simmering potpourri burner to create a trap for those pesky bugs while adding some scent to the air at the same time.  Instead of putting potpourri oil in the burner unit, put in some sort of sweet syrup like corn syrup or even maple syrup.  The mosquitoes are attracted to the heat as the syrup warms up and get trapped on the sticky surface.  Another method would be to using the candle powered potpourri pots.  The candle will put out the light and heat to attract the insects.  These methods will allow you to make mosquito traps that are safe for indoor use.
