For those concerned about trying to stay eco-friendly, natural bamboo roman shades have become a very popular choice in recent years.  Part of this reason is exactly because of the environmental benefits of using bamboo rather than wood.  Bamboo is a much faster growing plant than a normal hardwood tree but still has the rich look of expensive hardwoods.  This makes it a much more sustainable material and therefore has less of a negative impact on the environment.  Bamboo is also a beautiful product and adds depth and richness to your decor.

Bamboo roman shades can range in price quite extensively.  Top of the line choices will, of course, cost more than poorly made cheap bamboo roman shades.  However, if you look around and compare your options, you should be able to locate bamboo roman shades that will suit both your décor and your budget.  Whatever your choice may be, you can be sure that this style of window covering will enhance the look of every single  room you use it in.
