Many home owners have probably have had their homes broken into or things taken from them. I know I have. I didn’t know what to do. A friend told me about getting a security camera system. I thought to myself, aren’t they only used for businesses to help catch shoplifters. But he told me that they can catch burglars also! I never even thought of getting one for my home.
So I got a 4 camera system, one for the front door of my house, one for the back, one for the garage, and one for the side of the house. Let me tell you, they are worth it as soon as you get them. You never know what is going on at your home when you’re not there. These cameras have helped me out so much already. Their worth was proven quickly.
I got them installed rather quickly and easily. I would spend some time looking at what was going on around my house whenever I was gone. And what I found would surprise me! My own neighbors, who I have faith and trust in, were going into my garage and borrowing my tools such as my lawn mower and weed eater. Normally I wouldn’t be bothered if he asked me, but the fact that he was doing it behind my back boiled my blood. I set up a sting on him and caught him personally! I asked him why he was doing it, and he thought I would say no if he asked. We’re on better terms now after the incident, but still, I was happy I noticed he was doing it.
But that isn’t the only thing that the security camera system helped out with, it also helped when I came back from a week long vacation. I came back to my house and one of my front windows was busted open. I thought someone tried to break into my house. But when I looked around, nothing was ransacked at all. I had no idea what could have happened, it was just the window that was broken.
After reviewing the tapes for awhile, I noticed some neighborhood kids that were playing baseball actually hit a ball through my window. When I talked to the parents of the one who did it, they denied everything! But then I told them I have video proof and showed it to them. And luckily they paid for my new window. Trust me security camera systems are a good thing to have in your home. They are great for more than just burglars.
